There are moments in clinical practice where you realise that the body is speaking a language we were never formally taught to listen to.
For years we’ve treated the shoulder primarily through biomechanics — mobilising joints, strengthening muscles, correcting movement patterns. And of course those methods matter. But every experienced clinician eventually encounters patients where the shoulder simply doesn’t respond the way we expect.
That is where another layer of understanding becomes interesting.
I’m delighted to be hosting Kimberly Schipke, a biomedical engineer, qualified thermographer, and specialist in physics-based medicine, in an upcoming Virtual Hand Clinic.
Kimberly has spent years studying how resonance and frequency interact with the body. One of the relationships she explores is the connection between the heart, the thyroid, and the shoulder.
When resonance around the heart or thyroid becomes disrupted, the effects can radiate into the shoulder complex. It offers an intriguing perspective on why some shoulder conditions do not always respond fully to traditional approaches alone.
In this session, Kimberly will teach how these three structures interact and demonstrate how the thyroid, heart and shoulder can be tuned in relation to one another.
We’ll be running the evening in two parts.

Kimberly will guide a group tuning, allowing participants to experience firsthand what it feels like to be tuned. This session is open to anyone who has concerns relating to the heart, thyroid, or shoulder.
